Sebastapol is a very fun and eclectic town. The town offers some fantastic shopping, wine tasting rooms and restaurants. On your way or way back to the Cottages stop in at Mom’s Apple Pie, an area favorite for many years. While in town don’t miss the Barlow which is a collection of local food, art and wine. If you are in town for dinner catch a live band and some good burgers at Hopmonk Tavern or a wonderfully homey meal and K&L Bistro.

Occidental boasts some fantastic restaurants and artisan shops. Located in a Redwood Grove and only a short drive to the Ocean enjoy breakfast/lunch at Howards Station Café or a family style Italian Dinner at The Union Hotel. If you find yourself in the area on a Friday (June-October) don’t miss the Occidental Farmers Market from 4pm-Dusk. This is a celebration of local produce and food and be sure to grab a plate of Gerard’s Paella, it is truly amazing.
